Hair care: cup of tea?!
Yes, have you thought to include tea into your hair routine?
No? Well you should consider it.
Tea has loads of benefits for your hair:
- high in antioxidants
- antifungal
- antibacterial
- reduce hair breakage
- add shine to your hair
- promote hair growth
There are 2 methods to add it to your hair routine. You’ll just have to brew your tea (green teas or herbal teas) as normal and let it cool down.
Only 1 cup is enough! Indeed since tea has actif components you cannot keep it for more than 2-3 days. If you save some, please store in the fridge.
1️⃣ Replace the water or liquid part of your spray bottle by the tea brew to hydrate your hair. Yes you still hydrate your hair while providing all the good benefits from the tea.
2️⃣ Use it as a tea rinse at the final step of your hair wash after the conditionner or the hair mask. You can 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar and few drops of essential oils (eg. rosemary, lavender, eucalytus). You can either leave it for 5-10minutes and rinse it or leave it and let your hair air dry.
